Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it as well. Annie is first woman who has been crowned winner of CrossFit Games in two consecutive seasons. She came in second place in both the 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit and media celebrity. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. Her other achievements include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2017 and 2013. Annie was born and raised up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and brothers. She was a keen sportsperson and started working out at the age of five. In 2009, she participated in CrossFit competitions held in California. Her first results were quite impressive. Annie Thorisdottir is 31, (by in 2021). She is 5' 7" tall and weighs 67 kilograms. Annie started her CrossFit experience in California in the year 2009. She had a good performance at her very first games. She was among the top 10 in a field of 70. She did not take home a title and finished the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie placed 2nd at CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's direction. In her second year, she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she was the first woman to be awarded CrossFit Games. Annie was again victorious at her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. She became the first female athlete to win twice in CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, she also received a gold medal. Then in 2021 she won a bronze. Presently Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. With rising fame as an athlete Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae and many other. She also has her own Youtube channel, which is titled "Annie" and has more than 1,000 followers. The channel is where she shares videos about eating habits, parenting and travel.
