Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American performer, actress and songwriter for a number of years. When she was a kid she was subjected to racial taunts by American citizens of all races. When she went to an event at school and was given the highest praise for her singing at the age of 9 she began to grow more confident. The singer not only gained confidence through the audition, but she also changed the direction of her career. When she was 22, she graduated from New York's Julliard School. At the age of 23, she started her journey on Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, when she was 23 her first film debut was You've Got Mail. Her biggest breakthrough was when she starred in the character in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the original Broadway production of Spamalot receiving not just her the Tony Award for her performance as well as a lot of critical praise. The following year, in 2007, she was a cast member on the ABC show Grey's Anatomy and became more popular. She is also a known performer and has released an extended play. Additionally, she works as a LGBT activist.
